Nigerian Basketball Federation (NBBF)
The Nigerian basketball federation (NBBF) is the main body for basketball in Nigeria established as a governing body that oversees the activities of the men and women basketball club in the country.
The sports federation/association was created in the year 1963 and since its inception has been affiliated to the FIBA Africa which is the Continental Basketball Federation.
The federation has helped in all the game ramifications to make sure that the sports maintain its position, strive better and become more prominent and this has brought about an increase in the number of players that the federation recruits yearly developing them into professional players who will be willing and proud to represent the country at all times.
The federation also improves the affairs of the sports not only in Nigeria but globally and with total dedication to the sports have earned glory for the country in both Nigeria FIBA world cup and also in FIBA Africa.
