Mike Brown has always wished to become the first African basketball team to win an Olympic Games medal right from when he was appointed.

From the way his team is winning one could tell that those ambitions were reinforced.

Brown did not deny the fact that lately, his team performed badly in the fourth quarter which ruined their tendency of moving past poll play, not to talk more of winning a medal.

To Brown, it’s the same old song because we have not done a good job of taking care of the basketball and setting an Olympic medal aside, he still bothered about how to help grow the game long term in Nigeria.

“I love being part of Nigeria basketball and I truly hope the people of Nigeria continue to accept me the way they have because I do think that we can build something special because hurdles like this are going to come up and hopefully we will keep trying to find ways to get around them” Brown Said.
